Nolan was one of 12 scholars to sign for the Lilywhites ahead of the 2024/25 season. Nolan, a versatile player who can operate as a centre back, centre midfielder and even as a right sided full back. Praised for his football intelligence, Nolan has been named in North End’s match day squad on eight occasions this season. His latest appearance in a match day squad came last weekend in PNE’s victory over Portsmouth.

Brindle, much like Nolan, signed a scholarship with the Deepdale outfit. Brindle signed bis scholarship a year previous, ahead of the 2023/24 season. Another versatile player, Brindle can operate down the left flank either as a wing back or left sided centre back. Praised for his athleticism, Brindle is also handy from set pieces.

On their arrival ahead of the weekend, Manager Jimmy Marshall said: "I'm delighted to sign Ed and Jonny on an initial month loan. I've watched them both this season and they are both versatile lads who will both add different strengths

"Hopefully it will be a beneficial loan for both of us. I am thankful to PNE and particularly James Beet for facilitating both moves."

Both players will be in contention for minutes on Saturday when we entertain Leek Town at The Giant Axe.
