Hyde United
Hyde are in a race for promotion, sitting 3rd in the tightly packed play-off zone. They are three points above 6th placed Warrington Town and within a point of all of their fellow play-off spot holders.
Hyde went on an impressive run of just one defeat in 12 games but have lost their last two by narrow 1-0 scorelines to Radcliffe and South Shields. They have limited their concessions this season to 33 goals, the third best in the division. They also have the second most goals in the league with 55, 11 of those coming from Jack Redshaw who scored in the reverse fixture and against Lancaster for Ashton United last season.
Away from home, they have the third best points return with 31 from 18 games, winning eight, drawing seven and losing three. This is their fourth away trip in five games.
Lancaster City
Lancaster returned from Belper with three points and are back at Giant Axe for the first time in three weeks, the last home game being the 2-1 win over Morpeth. Lancaster are on a great home run and have won the last five on familiar soil, only conceding two in the process. David Norris has been vital in that run, scoring four of City's 10 goals in that sequence, as well as adding his first away goal of the season to his tally by firing in the winner on Saturday.
Mark Fell has kept the squad strong by extending the loan of Owen Robinson, who also scored on the weekend, until the end of the season.
Head-to-Head
Lancaster beat Hyde 2-1 away in November, with Nic Evangelinos and Dom Lawson both on the scoresheet.
