The Reds head into the fixture in 12th position after winning four of their fixtures and losing the rest. last time out saw the Cumbria side dispatch Bradford Park Avenue two goals to one at the Horsfall Community Stadium. Goals from Steven Rigg and Dan Wordsworth secured the victory before Bradford Park Avenue pulled a goal back late on.

Last term, the Reds gained promotion from the Northern Premier League Division One West via a successful play off campaign. Danny Grainger's men finished third in the normal season before seeing off Clitheroe and then Runcorn Linnets in the final. The club still have last seasons top scorer David Symington in their ranks. The former Carlisle United youth graduate finished the campaign on 17 goals. Scott Allison is also in the Reds ranks following his 15 goals in the 2022/23 campaign.

After the weekends defeat to Ilkeston Town, the Dolly Blues subsequently dropped down to 7th place. After Tuesday nights fixture, Mark Fell's side take on Ashton United in FA Cup third round qualifying, while our upcoming league fixture against Ashton has been postponed.

Mark Fell will still be without Jamie Mellen, Christian Sloan and Nic Evangelinos for the fixture. Jake Connelly will also be absent following the injury he sustained in the Ilkeston tie.
