Lancaster City picked up their first three points of the season as they came away 4-2 victors against Grantham Town.

The Dollies headed into the match up with just two points on the board and chasing their first win of the season.
Goals from Sam Bailey, Charlie Bailey, Tom Kilifin and David Norris saw the Dolly Blues put in their best performance of the season so far.
It took City just seven minutes to take the lead. Sam Bailey like he has done time and time again for the Dollies worked himself into the box crossing the ball into to Tom Kilifin headed the ball home at the near post to give Mark Fells side a 1-0 lead.
Debutant Jacob Holland Wilkinson on loan from Preston North End kept the attack in order with some neat footwork and his talent would be shown throughout the match.
Sam Bailey soon went from provided to goal scorer when a throw in was taken quickly and Bailey working his way to the edge of the box striking from outside the area to put the Dollies 2-0 up.
Momentum was fully with City as Charlie Bailey managed to capitalise on shot by Wilkinson which was palmed into his path which Bailey tucked away to put the Dollies three goals up.
However, the Dollies were reduced to ten men after Grantham scored a headed goal with Andy Teague being dismissed for an incident in the box.
3-1 up, City took time to adjust to being a man down and the scoreline remained in the Dollies favour as the halftime whilst sounded.
Creating chances this season is something the Dollies have struggled with sometimes, however Saturday proved to be a different story.
City continued to fight hard and scored the best goal of the game as David Norris and Holland Wilkinson partnered up. David Norris sprinted to just over halfway, making sure Holland ran into space passed the ball and the PNE loanee went out wide cutting the ball back to Norris who curled it home to make it 4-1.
Grantham managed to pull back another goal in the 70th minute but the City defence made up of Hudson and Cowperthwaite made sure that the Dollies held on for the three points.
