Match Preview – Lancaster City vs Warrington Town
Lancaster City are back in action at Giant Axe this afternoon as they take on Warrington Town. It is their first game at home since their draw against Morpeth Town in late September.
City come into this afternoons game after a gritty performance on Tuesday night against FC United of Manchester. The Dolly Blues fell behind against FC United but thanks to Tom Kliffin's fourth goal of the season, were able to secure a point.
City will be encouraged with their performance on Tuesday night and will be looking to register three points against a very impressive Warrington side.
The Wire, currently sit top of the NPL Premier League and will be looking to build on their strong start to the season. Warrington started the season well winning their first three games with their only loss all year coming against Mickleover FC. The Wire haven't won a game away from home all year and The Dolly Blues will be hoping this stays the case.
City will be hoping to build of their good performance Tuesday night and register their first league win at home against a sell out crowd at Giant Axe.
