One of non-league football’s most recognisable players is Lancaster City captain Andrew Teague. Having made 44 appearances for Macclesfield Town in League Two, he went on to ply his trade for Leigh Genesis before joining Lancaster City in 2009.
Andrew joined Chorley in 2011 and went on to make 390 appearances for the Magpies, where is deservedly lauded as a club legend.
After almost a decade away from the Giant Axe, Andrew returned in 2021 following Lancaster’s promotion to the Northern Premier League Premier Division. Andrew suffered an injury hit 2022/23 season, but our skipper and leader is back to spearhead another defensively solid campaign.
