Alan Paris is one of our own, born and bred in Slough. It is only his outstanding performances for Slough Town 1st team at the age of 17 that took him away from us, signing professional forms for Watford FC under the late Ex England manager Graham Taylor.
Alan has played at the highest level of English football under Neil Warnock for Notts County, playing at Old Trafford in his 1st game. He made over 300 league and cup appearances.
Alan has vast amount of experience in League, Non-league, Professional Academies and grass roots football, being involved in managing at many levels, age groups and mens football.
Alan was head of the Youth development last season at Langley Fc, overseeing all the youth teams, which had an U11’s and two U13’s teams. Alan has now formed an U7’s, two U8’s and a U11’s team and looking to have more. He says, that the only thing holding us back is finding managers.
Alan is creating players from his Football4Fun coaching sessions for girls & boys of all abilities. Which runs Wednesdays at Kederminster park 6-7:15pm and Saturdays at Herschel Grammar School 10:30-12pm.
Having worked with the youth teams last season, Alan was asked to be Director of Football for Langley FC from 1st team to youth, which is a great opportunity for him to have an input and improve the players and coaches.
The club has endured huge success over its short time they have existed, winning promotions, leagues and cups. The 1st team now have entered Non-league status, playing at stadiums every week. A new era has begun with new players, manager and ground as now the 1st team will play home games at Holyport FC, Maidenhead.
Quote from Alan
‘I am excited and looking forward to the season, working with the ambitious chairman and hardworking club representatives to continue to bring players and success to the club’.
