Keeping so many of last season's squad is really pleasing, and we are aiming to add quality with new additions. It's a real coup for the club to be able to sign a striker of Powell's standing.

Our management team have been working hard to get players on board for the upcoming season.

We are delighted to see a large proportion of last season's squad sign up for another season at Plain Ham. So far, keeper Shaun Semmens, central defensive pair Mike Baker and Josh Jones, full-back Mason Winter, midfielders Matt Britton, Geraint Bater, Alex Lambert and Ross Beazer, striker George King, centre-forward Greg Peel, and versatile assistant manager Neil Arndale have all signed for the club.

Phil has also added to our striking options by signing talented goalscorer Lewis Powell, we have gained more strength in midfield with the addition of Ben Lewis, Harry Hope, and Ashley McGrane (on dual reg with Odd Down), and we have also bagged promising young full-back Wayne Nderemani. Supporters will also be pleased to hear that talented left-back Alfie Clarke returns on loan from Bristol Rovers, where he was given a professional contract earlier this summer.
