The Larks built on the decisive 4-0 win away at Burnham on Tuesday with another victory, against Bishops Cleeve.
This was a tighter affair and a single goal, a header off a corner from top scorer Jamie Lyons, ensured that all three points stayed at Plain Ham. Josh Egan came close to making it 2-0, too. It was also good to see another consecutive clean sheet from keeper Lewis Noice.
There were quite a few contenders for man of the match but in the end it went to captain Ollie Price who kept the Cleeve forwards at bay for 90 minutes and today is doing the Bath Half Marathon!
Next up is a trip to Marlow on Saturday, never an easy place to visit. Our next home game is Wednesday week, when we welcome old friends Slimbridge.
Let's keep climbing that table! Up the Larks!
