Hibs hold on to win consecutive league games despite late come back from home side!

Hibs travelled away to Warwick Boar in this weeks league fixture looking for their second consecutive league win.

An energised Hibs side looked good from kick off and were soon ahead as an in swinging Luke Marriott corner was met by a week footed volley from long serving Hibs midfielder Aidan Foley for his first goal in three years. 0 - 1.

In a cagey first half the home side threatened to equalise but on the stroke of half time another excellent driven corner from in form Hibs midfielder Luke Marriott was met by Harry Davies to make the score 0-2.

Having grown into the game as the first half drew to a close the away side came out second half with real purpose and soon found themselves with a spot kick after a Warwick Boar handball. The penalty was calmly dispatched by Hibs top scorer Harry Davies. 0-3.

Despite what seemed a comfortable lead, the Reserves began to make hard work of the result as a goal mouth scramble resulted in the home side pulling one back. 1-3.

Warwick Boar really began to play and soon found their second with an excellent finish. 2-3.

Man of the match Aidan Foley restored a two goal advantage for the away side with a bicycle kick effort from close range and despite close chances for Andwayne Taylor the score stayed 2-4.

A very late well taken goal for Warwick Boar wasn’t enough to mount a comeback as the score finished 3-4.
