on paper this looks like a very bad defeat for Leaside, and it wasn't the greatest morning. it wasn't made a bad morning by the boys that turned up to play this game, but a bad morning because for the second week in a row we had no substitutes because of injuries and boys not being at the game.

after Alex's injury in the previous game, he was unable to play and joined the two Harrys on the injury list.

With no goalkeeper and only 11 players for the game, against a team that had been doing well, this was always going to be another tough morning. It was agreed before the game that Jyosh would play in goal for the first half of this one and Max would take his place for the second half.
the first half was fairly even for most of it, Buckhurst hill had a few chances and maybe should have scored from one of them but for the ost part they were restricted to long shots and balls through that Jyosh in goal dealt with well.
Leaside did have one good chance themselves were a ball played forward was about a cm too long for Sham to get on the end of in front of goal.

Unfortunately the second half was were things started to go wrong. it was not the fault of the buys playing at all, but Buckhurst Hill started to get on top and with no way of changing things it was only the boys effort that kept the score level for as long as it was. It was only about ten minutes into the second half that the first goal did go in and from that point onwards it was really hard work for the boys to keep going, Buckhurst hill had really pushed forward and it felt like there wasn't going to be an easy way back into the game. Soon the second and third goals went in and from that point onwards Leaside were just praying for the final whistle. A couple of more goals were added ate on to make the score look a lot worse than it really was, and the boys came off the pitch absolutely shattered from the effort they had put in.
