Great advert for Under 15's girls rugby

Leek welcomed Tamworth in the 5th round of the cup and played on the Wall Lane pitch. Conditions were wet and slippery which did not suit Leek's way of playing. Leek chose to play up the hill and took the game to Tamworth. Morgan opened the scoring with Millie adding another with Holly converting both. Tamworth came back and scored a good try but Morgan added another to give us a good lead. Tamworth came back and scored a converted try with HT being 19-10. With the slope in our favour, I felt we were in a good position but I told the girls to never underestimate Tamworth and they charged up the pitch for a fine converted try - 19-17 game on. We then took control of field position and Amiee crashed over - 24-17. This Tamworth team never gives up and pushed for the equaliser but we kept them at bay for a good win. Great game of rugby from both sides. Well done Staffordshire rugby.
