Leek under 12's ventured into Cheshire again to play Marple after a lengthy layoff from Christmas and bad weather.
With only 14 players available the boys were going to be kept very busy, and with 2 of the big forwards out of action a change of tactics was required.
Marple fielded a big strong team with some pace in their backs.
From the kickoff the Leek fullback took a clean catch and made a fantastic run through the Marple defensive line to open the scoring 0-5.
From the restart Leek totally dominated the play, two more tries were scored which left their hosts wondering what had hit them0-15.
Leek had been practicing moves from their backs and again the linkup play between them was a joy to watch,resulting in another try 0-20.
Marple started to rally with them taking control of the rucks but the Leek boys forced their hosts into making mistakes and again increased the score 0-25.

The second half began with Marple pushing to open the scoring,Leek defensive line was strong and it took a moment of brilliance from the Marple flyhalf who chipped the ball over the Leek players and ran in their first try of the game 5-25.
Leek again attacked their hosts but the rucks and mauls were been won by Marple who again scored another try 10-25.
The Leek boys turned up the pace of the game with some of the the best play we as coaches have witnessed this season, 2 more tries were scrored by Leek 10-35.
The game was entering the final stages when Leek again grabbed another try to seal a great victory.
In the last play Marple set up a driving maul and managed to grab a try.
