Great day out

Leek U10's travelled away to Wilmslow festival on a nice sunny day.

We played some really good rugby but unfortunately ended the day in 6th place out of 20 teams.
We had a tough group round playing
Wilmslow - won - 9-0
Winnington park - lost - 1-2
Chester - Won 4-1
Black rock - Won 4-0

We finished the round in 2nd place as we very narrowly lost to Winnington park in the last 10 seconds of the game!
This saw Winnington park going through to the cup competition instead of us, if we had drawn with them we would have gone through as we had more of a try difference against the other teams!

We went through to the bowl competition but unfortunately lost to Stockport - 0-3

We then went on and played Bowden and finished the day on a high with another good win 6-0.

Overall we had a good day and played some good rugby, with some of the cheshire teams wanting to play us more next season, which is exactly what we need.

I do believe we have a great group of kids and parents and believe we will go far!
