SEASON TICKET OPTIONS REGARDING 2020/21 SEASON

Following the Governments roadmap several weeks ago and some further guidance from The FA and our league, the Club is now in a position to update supporters regarding Season Tickets.

As everyone is aware the 2019/20 was declared null and void due to COVID-19, with the Club only having 10 games to play, of which 7 were at home and 3 were away. The support of season ticket holders at this point was fantastic with the vast majority all electing to donate the unused portion to the Club.

The position is somewhat different in 2020/21 as the league programme has been curtailed, and no games have been played since November 2020, indeed our last home game was in October 2020. At this point the Club ha only completed 4 home league fixtures of the scheduled 19.

The Club can offer the following options to current Season Ticket holders :

  • a partial refund of the ticket being the unused portion which is 79% (15/19) of the value
  • a replacement Season Ticket for next season for the whole season which will cover league games only

Jon Eeles, Chairman said "The support from our fan base has been fantastic, so we have decided to offer the two options, which hopefully covers everyone's circumstances and rewards our fanbase for their loyalty.

I've already been contacted by several supporters who want to donate the unused element of their 2020/21 ticket, which has been very humbling, but we wanted to make these options available. I know they will want to continue to support us financially in the 2021/22 season, and there will be many ways to do this including taking a Digital Programme Subscription, participating in #LEEKOPOLY or just making a modest donation.

Our next focus will be contacting all existing sponsors around their support in the previous season and the options available for the 2021/22 season, again their support was fantastic but the curtailment of the season and lack of home games has given us many issues to consider."

The Club will be contacting all Season Ticket holders individually with this news and further details of the options.

At this time it is not known whether there will be restrictions on crowd numbers for the 2021/22 season, when this is known more information will be released around the availability and price for new Season Tickets."
