The Club took the difficult decision to withdraw from the Staffordshire Senior Challenge Cup last week, primarily to prioritise player welfare and balance our commitments against our injury roster.

We were instructed by Staffordshire FA that the winner of the tie on 10th March would need to play the semi-final on the 17th March the following week. We therefore felt it was not in the interest of the Club and players to continue in the competition and informed them of our decision within the prescribed time period and within in the current rules.

The tie has been awarded to Rushall Olympic who will now face Hednesford Town next Tuesday.
