The 'smash' came on 27 minutes when Michael Harcourt's stunning 30 yard strike put the Derbyshire side ahead and the 'grab' came 14 minutes from time when Ian Brown headed home the second against the run of play.

For the rest of the game it was Blues that carved out most of the opportunities but a combination of excellent goalkeeping, good defending and poor finishing kept them at bay.

After 13 minutes, Devon Gibson had a bullet header cleared off the line and moments later Leigh Skellern excellent chip was just tipped over the bar by the visiting keeper.

Skellern had another good chance just before the break but fired over when well placed just inside the box.

On 58 minutes, Matt Johnson's effort just cleared the bar before Gibson half-volleyed a difficult chance across goal but just wide of the far post.

After going two down, Anthony Malbon was thwarted by a great save from point-blank range, Devon Gibson's header was tipped over and Dan Cope's low deflected effort was brilliantly tipped round the post as Glapwell keeper Andy Richmond completed a man of the match performance.

Once again, not a bad performance by the Blues but yet another defeat, the 22nd of the season.
