Last night (28th April) would have been the Ladies Challenge Cup final between our 1st team and Stoke City Women 1st after both teams secured a place in the final earlier in the year.
Our 1st team who play in the West Midlands Regional Women’s League Premier Division were also 2nd in the league with two games in hand so also had a good chance in the promotion battle between the top 3 or 4 teams in the League with a place in the Women’s National League to play for.

More serious issues took over when the COVID-19 virus firstly caused the postponement of all grassroots football followed by the cancellation of all leagues for the 2019/20 season which is now void.
We will all start again from scratch with a new season when told it’s safe to do so.
