Are you leaving school this summer or about to complete your first year of college? Do you want to study, train and play football full time for a semi-professional club at a football academy that is an alternative to going to college?
The Leek Town Academy (based at the Northwood Stadium) are hosting trials in the forthcoming half term holidays for anyone aged 16-18 (on September 1st 2016) who wants to progress with their education and develop their football from September 2016.
Tuesday 31st May, 5pm - 7pm at Northwood Stadium, Stoke-on-Trent, ST1 6PB (3G pitch)
The Academy has been a major success since it was established in 2014 with our partners the NPL Football Academy. Dylan Shilcock became the first football graduate to play first team football in 2015 when he made his debut as a seventeen year old. More success on the football side of the programme followed when Sam Faulkner was selected to take part in the NPL Football Academy inter-league team in games against Accrington Stanley in May 2016.
