DO THEY MEAN US? HANLEY TOWN
This Saturday (24th February 3pm) sees us heading down Leek New Road for the short trip to Hanley Town in what will be a tough league game against a local rival. With just 11 league games to go, Josh and the boys will need as many of The True Blue Army getting behind the lads on the day as possible. See you there!
The True Blue Army will assemble at?
Just 9 miles away, Hanley Town is the closest of our away games in the league. Most will know the way there, and there are a couple of ways to go - most will probably head down the A53-A5009-Abbey Road-Abbey Lane. As a resident of ST9, please expect temporary traffic lights somewhere in that postcode! An alternative route is through Wetley Rocks, Werrington, and Bucknall.
Address: Low Cost Roofing Stadium, Abbey Lane, Bucknall, Stoke-on-Trent ST2 8AJ
We will be wearing our popular away colours of all orange #ORANJE

How are they doing?
Ryan Shotton’s men are in 17th place, but have a good points distance between themselves and the relegation zone. They earned a really good point in their last game at Prescot and gave us a tough game at the F Ball Community Stadium last November.
Their last three games:
Their main man?
Tyrone Ofori is Hanley’s top scorer with 10 goals this season. He scored against Leek in November from a very difficult angle.
Their gaffer?
Player-Manager Ryan Shotton should need no introduction to local football fans, after playing for Stoke City in the Premier League 48 times. Ryan also played for Leek Town twice in 2020, and lives locally. His career as a player also saw him playing for the likes of Middlesbrough, Derby County, and Birmingham City, before venturing to Australia to play for Melbourne Victory. He joined Hanley Town in 2021
