DO THEY MEAN US? PRESCOT CABLES
Saturday (16th March 3pm kick off) sees The Blues once again involved in a thrilling first versus second league battle as we welcome Prescot Cables to the F Ball Community Stadium.
Whilst our form has been outstanding, Cables have also been very consistent and will provide the sternest of tests once again. That’s why we’ll need as many of the True Blue Army at the ground as possible to cheer the lads on. It’s something we always bang on about, but the management and players absolutely love seeing you there.
We are also collecting Easter eggs on the day in the clubhouse for the wonderful Leek & District Foodbank – if you can support this community initiative that would be fantastic! - read about it HERE
The True Blue Army will assemble at?
It’s at home, with the bar and Blues Bites open as usual, and with merchandise on sale by the bar. The Premier League game Newcastle United vs West Ham United will be on the telly, so get down early and let’s make it an afternoon to remember!
How much to get in?
What are they known as/Nickname(s)?
Cables, Pesky Bulls

How are they doing?
Cables are having an excellent season, and at present lie in second place, 15 points behind us with a game in hand. The game at Prescot was a really tight affair and we know that they will be fired up for Saturday’s game, too. They are also on the back of an excellent mid week against Bootle in the Liverpool Senior Cup.
Their gaffer?
Steven Daley became first team manager in February 2023, and is assisted by Peter Cumisky in his role as Assistant Manager.
Their main man?
John Murphy has already got 15 league goals to his name this season and will be a real handful for The Blues’ defence. We wont be taking our eyes off Francis Smith or Kyle Sambor.
