DO THEY MEAN US? WITTON ALBION FC
This Saturday (20th April 3pm) sees us heading to Witton Albion for our last away game of a simply amazing season. That means it’s the last chance for a few months for The True Blue Army to travel to watch the lads and give them the support that they really do appreciate.
It’s sure to be a tough game against our Cheshire opponents, who are looking to secure a Play Off spot.
The True Blue Army will assemble at?
We’d love to see as many Blues fans there as possible. It’s an easy ground to get to, and isn’t too far away for our last away. It’s around 27 miles from Leek and the A54 is the way to go if you’re heading there.
Parking: Witton Albion have spaces for over 150 cars at the ground. Parking at the stadium is free of charge.
Address: U Lock It Stadium, Wincham Park, Off Chapel Street, Wincham, Northwich, CW9 6DA
We will playing in our customary all orange away kit #ORANJE
How much to get in?
What are they known as/Nickname(s)?
Albion, The Albs

How are they doing?
As I write this, Albion lie in 5th place in the league with 59 points from 36 matches. They have a three point cushion, but it’s tight, and there are several clubs who will still fancy their chances of the Play Offs. Last week, Albion won 4-0 away at Trafford and have won their last three league games. This will be another big examination of Josh’s lads.
Their main man?
Connor Hughes has 15 goals to his credit this season. Albion also include Tom Pope in their ranks and a certain Danny Roberts who is very well known to Leek Town fans.
Their gaffer?
Jon Macken is currently manager at Witton, and will be known by many for his excellent career as a centre forward for the likes of Man City, PNE, Crystal Palace, and Ipswich Town. He also gained one international cap for the Republic of Ireland in 2004. Jon has previously managed Colne and was in the dugout in 2019 when Radlciffe beat Leek Town in the play off final.
