Rushall Olympic – Have we met before
For many Leek Town fans, Rushall Olympic will be a familiar name. The Walsall based club had beaten the Blues in back to back Staffordshire Senior Cup finals in the 22/23 and 23/24 season, albeit narrowly.
The Blues have taken on the Pics on 16 occasions dating back to 1992. Most game have come in Cup competitions apart from those between 2008/2011 where the teams shared the same league.
It is safe to say that Rushall have had Leek’s number over those 16 ties, with the Pics winning 12 and drawing 3, with the Blues only able to find 1 victory.
There have been 36 goals in total over the years, 27 of those goals being scored by Rushall.
XG for the game solely based on head to head meetings suggests 2.1 goals for this fixture.
