Leek soon got going against Wyrley when Elise Skelding scored after 5 minutes. Leek however failed to take control of the game at this point and Wyrley had some good attacks both through the middle and down the flanks. Leek's fullbacks Emma Smith and Molly Shaw and central defenders Isabel Wretham and Charlotte Bromley never looked threatened and stopped most of the Wyley attacks.
Good work from Amber Stanway and Rosie Atkinson in Midfield presented Leek with several chances but none were taken. The ball then broke to Fran Stonier on the edge of the Wyrley 18 yard box who took a shot which went in just inside the far post to make it 2-0 to Leek.
Leek finally settled down and Eleanor Degg had a good effort which went just wide, Alice Naden then came close on a couple of occasions but just could not get a good shot away.
Half time Leek 2-0 Wyrley Pumas.
Wyrley started the second half on the attack and Leek's goalkeeper Hannah Austin made a good save and then cleared the ball quickly to Leek's forwards.
Leek then won a corner after a good run from Hannah Newman down the left, from the corner both Emma Smith and Amber Stanway came close. Then from a Leek corner from the right side Elise Skelding scored her second with a close range header. As the game went on Alice Naden was becoming more of a threat to the Wyrley defence and finally broke through to score Leek's fourth goal.
