Andy Billinge is aiming to raise £500 to help fund Heart Screening for ALL players at Leigh RUFC.

Our very own 'Marathon Man', Andy Billinge, is again putting on his running shoes to raise funds towards providing Heart Screening for all players, young and old, at Leigh RUFC.

Please see below an extract from Andy's Just Giving page outlining his challenge in more detail.

'Last year Kev McKenna passed away at a very young age and left a big hole in many family and friends hearts, so I have decided to run a Track Half Marathon - 52.5 laps of Leigh Sports Village running track on Saturday May 25th 10 am to raise funds towards Heart Screening of all players young and old at Leigh RUFC.

If everyone who knew Kev could donate any amount at all I'm sure we could smash the target and make both myself, and Kev up there somewhere very proud - Thx in advance'

If anyone would like to make a donation towards this very worthy cause please follow the link below.

Good luck Andy, from all your friends at Leigh RUFC and thank you once again for putting yourself through the pain barrier in aid of such a worthy cause.
