Leigh RUFC is committed to safeguarding the health and safety of all members, players and staff.
We have followed the government guidelines and will continue to do so.

At present we have had minimal disruption and no reported cases of coronavirus, but there has been self-isolations of players from clubs in our leagues, albeit with no confirmed cases.
If there are suspected cases with either ourselves or the opposition we will act sensibly and accordingly.

Additional hand washing facilities have been provided for our staff to use and the soaps situated by hand wash basins will be replenished daily for customers.

The situation is fluid but it is worth reiterating government guidance that if you feel unwell, have a fever and a new persistent cough then you must not attend the Club.
You must follow the self –isolation guidance to reduce the risk to others and to minimise the spread.

We believe the situation will get worse before it gets better and fully expect the RFU to update its advice on playing and training in the week ahead. This will lead to wider disruption.
