Lenzie matched Glasgow at the line outs and had the better of the scrums however Glasgow moved the ball quicker and their pace at centre and wing gave them the edge throughout the match. Accies opened the scoring with good support running and this was followed up by the mercurial Bryden running in from 40 meters.
Lenzie turned around at half time 26 - 0 down and playing with a strong wind they took the game to Accies and attempted to play the game in the right areas and were unlucky to lose a score through some excellent counter attacking play from Glasgow. This was followed up by a period do sustained pressure on the Acciesline which eventually resulted in a fine score by Knight when quick hands by Morrison, McWilliams and Wood exposed space out wide. Scouller completed the scoring for Lenzie with a fine conversion. Lenzie made a significant contribution to this game however Glasgow Accies played some great rugby and were well worth their win.
Man of the match was Letford who had a great game within the scrum and ruck.
