

Letham Afc 14-0 Kettins
Today we welcomed Kettins to the acres on league business and our lads knew a win would see us go joint top of the league with Bridge of Earn. We started off well and our passing and movement was impressive in the early stages which saw us pass up a few good chances. We opened the scoring after 11 minutes when when a superb Rian Shillan through ball was well finished by Richard Wheeler. We made it 2-0 after 17 when Mark McLeod scores from a Richard Wheeler cross. It was 3-0 after 19 minutes when a Mark Shaw corner was well finished by Sean Ferrie. It was 4-0 after 26 minutes when Richard Wheeler grabbed his second after a great cross by Connor Galletly. We made it 5-0 just a minute later with great play down the left side saw Gary Collier play a great ball for Connor Galletly to run on to and cross for Mark McLeod to grab his second. It was 6-0 after 30 minutes with Mark McLeod grabbing his hat trick from another Connor Galletly cross. We made it 7-0 after 37 minutes with Richard Wheeler scoring his hat trick with another assist from Connor Galletly. We made it 8-0 on 44 minutes when Mark McLeod grabbed his fourth after being played in by Richard Wheeler.

Into the second half and the message was clear we continue to look for more goals and we did. We made it 9-0 within seconds of the restart with Richard Wheeler scoring from a Mark Shaw assist. It was 10-0 after 48 minutes with Richard Wheeler scoring again this time being set up by another great long through ball by Rian Shillan. We made it 11-0 after 58 minutes with Mark McLeod grabbing another this time set up by Richard Wheeler. It was 12-0 after 66 minutes when Sean Ferrie produced a great finish after being teed up by Richard Wheeler. It was 13-0 after 70 minutes when Michael Ramsay scores this time set up by Mark McLeod who raced one on one with the keeper and squared for a tap in. We completed the scoring and made it 14-0 after 77 minutes when a great Connor Galletly cross was superbly headed home by Michael Ramsay.

A superb performance from the boys today who were ruthless scoring some great goals and playing some great one and two touch football.
The only disappointment of the day was Kettins not coming back to our sponsors at the Tulloch after saying midweek they would and our sponsors laid on food for them.
