Mike’s put out some lists for you to sign, indicating places where you’d try to get a poster put up - and possibly leave some hand-outs as well. Please be diligent in this and help us get as wide a coverage as possible for the event.
If two of you think of the same venue, please discuss!!
If you have other ideas for publicity, please don’t be backward at coming forward!

Odds & Ends
1. Some of you will no doubt remember past-member David Garstang. RS came across him recently at a local craft event, demonstrating his cane and rush-bottom chair seating skills. His daughter was demonstrating quilling alongside him. As time goes by he gets to look more and more like his dad, with an even more luxuriant beard! Another past member RS met up with recently was Kevin Downham. He’s now living in Leicestershire and

has gone back into plying his trade as a Chaplain in the Prison Service. He’s also playing and dancing with Rutland MM.
RS was giving a talk to the ladies of Moss Side WI recently, whose number included no less than four who’d danced – as girls – in the St James’ Morris Team; one of them when the team began in 1946. Kath Harvey, who used to employ Neil Chadwick as an undertaker’s mute, was there too and asking after Neil
Apparently, on Easter Saturday there was an unidentified Morris team taking part in the fracking protest on the Fylde.
Last Tuesday Barry was tuned into Radio 4 Extra and picked up on reporter Claudia Hammond visiting Jockey MM (Birmingham) at practice and then going out with them on their Plough Monday Tour in the city. All good, positive reporting too.
