Many thanks.......
.....to the 4 + 5 who turned up to entertain the Goosnargh Over 60s on Thursday, 13th February. What a warm welcome we received and what a pleasure it was to have such a receptive group to work with. They even had us go on longer than originally planned.

Other Matters
We hope you all learnt that past member Brian Pilkington had died on Friday, 7th February. Well known locally as a professional footballer for Burnley and England, Brian was in at the beginning of the current revival, joining along with some of his pals from schooldays and Leyland Motors. Pity he only danced for the 1967 season: had he remained longer we might have obtained more publicity through his presence.

You may have noticed , especially from TV, that Cransley School near Northwich was one of the first in the North West to shut down for a spell following the coronavirus scare and the return of a holiday group from N.Italy. Hands up all those who remember going to dance, either once or twice, at that school’s fete!!
