Player Overview: James Clarke or "Queener" began as an attack man in the summer of his final year at University, it quickly became apparent however that his home was in between the sticks.
Now in his 3rd year in the sport he's yet to miss a competitive game despite a substantial journey to and from both training and home fixtures. His commitment and vocal presence earned him his co-Vice Captain stripes at the end of the 12/13 season.
With a penchant for the flamboyant, Queener isn't one to hide in his crease, often looking to push forward with half a glance at goal I'm sure. Queener has become know for his emphatic sprawling stops as well as his measured positioning and can be credited with keeping the team competitive despite facing far more experienced outfits. A vital part of the team.

Who/How did you get into Lacrosse: saw people walking around campus with sticks and seen as I am not a fan of Harry Potter thought it was lacrosse and decided to give it ago and look at me now!

Why Lacrosse: Coming from a ice hockey back ground and there been NO ice in Lincoln and football is far too much of a pansy sport. Thought that Lacrosse would be the next best thing.
Best Lacrosse moment: well not been playing for that long, but possibly the two moments that stick out are betting Loughborough in my final year, and betting Hull during our first season of NEMLA

Funniest Lacrosse moment: Quite possibly something that Rick has done or Harry calling a George foreman a "Thomas Cook"

Who in the team reminds you of someone famous: we have quite a few (most of which have left) Harry who looks like Charlie out of the original Charlie and the chocolate factory! For the people who know Charlie graham he looks like a character out of RECESS "Randall"

If you were stuck on an Island, who from the team would you not want to be stuck with: wow that is a hard decision it is between Jonny Stamper as we both share the same need to check our bags 1000's of times before we believe that we have packed everything together we would be a nightmare!! And the other Sam Cave as I don't want to buy any of your brothers old lacrosse equipment!
