For the seven teams which took part there must be thanks for making the effort and it is a shame that more of the county’s teams did not come forward. There are plans for an entirely new approach to this event for next season which, hopefully, should see better representation.

Thanks to the umpires without whom we could not operate. The standard throughout all of the games was good and LCHUA used the event for coaching with their performances being assessed for future appointments.

Thanks also to John Cunnington for helping me to man the table on Sunday. To Cheryl Pawson for her work in getting all the information out to the teams. Tony Perrin for organising the draw for both events and the staff at The Lindum for their work behind the bar and in the kitchen.
