The third round Integro Cup draw has been made by the Norther Premier League following our second round victory against Gainsborough Trinity. The draw states that either Trinity or ourselves will play Kidsgrove Athletic subject to further action. Clearly this has confused some of our supporters.

An error occurred regarding the registration of one of our players for the earlier tie at the Northolme and who came on as substitute for the last few minutes. The person concerned is our Development Squad coach and who helped us in terms of numbers on the night. He is not normally available for first team games and as such will not figure at that level going forward.

Our volunteers who carry out our administration duties do a superb job and all of us within the club support them fully. The requisite forms were prepared during the Xmas period but not sent off and this is a simple error. Football administration is complicated and time-consuming.

The NPL Cup Committee are considering these events and whilst we hope to remain in the competition we will respectfully accept their findings once made.
