Lincoln United made it ten points from a possible twelve in the last fortnight and have now won five out of the last nine games.
Ben Garrick grabbed a brace in the first half following a goal from Dean Rathbone for the league's form team Sutton Coldfield.
Right on half time David Coyde grabbed his third of the season which proved important as Rathbone found the net again on the hour mark but United stood firm.
