Match Day - United travel to Spalding - Today

After a Boxing Day 1 v 1 home draw against Spalding, United make the reverse journey over to Spalding this afternoon, with the target of securing at least 8th place come the end of the season.

Recent disappointing losses to both Gresley and Tividale have certainly wiped out any chance of a play off position, but once again these defeats have shown it is not character that we are lacking, we if anything have just been unlucky, We could have quite easily beaten Gresley 2 v 1 and Tividale snatched victory with 2 penalties.

We do not dwell on the past though, the players are playing for today, the last 4 games against the Top 4 in the league will give us real guidance to where we want to be again next season.

We have no new known injuries ahead of today's game and wish the lads the very best today.
