A huge game today for two sides nearly evenly matched so far this season, both teams are on within 2 points of each other however Leek due to various cup commitments and postponements have 5 games in hand.

Leek are a good strong side who will certainly be in contention for a play off place, if not outright promotion. United with their performances so far this season are beginning to earn the right to be challenging for a top 8 finish. Winning games like today will be a must if we have any serious thoughts about the play offs, a tough battle like performance is going to be required. Some stand out player performances have helped our points total in certain games but the team spirit that Dave and Sam have installed into the team has to be the key to this years success thus far.
