Following the re-launch of our junior section and as we look toward a start date for the new season, it is a great opportunity to shine the spotlight on our club volunteers, who allow 'The Whites' to provide football from 4 years of age right up to our senior teams.
Today is the turn of another coach within our newly created female pathway, Adam Fields. Adam is head coach of our U9 Girls, and also well as coaches for Nottingham Forest Girls U10
Adam holds a level 1 qualification and was due to start his level 2 in May, and as soon as we get back to some form of normality he will resume working on this qualification. Ambition wise, Adam wants to achieve his UEFA B licence in the coming years and see where that takes him within the female game.
When we asked Adam about his involvement and experience within the game, Adam told us: 'As a coach I like to create a real togetherness throughout the team and the parents. The most rewarding feeling for me, as a coach, is seeing a player who loves the game and regardless of the score, they will step out onto the pitch and have the time of their life. Even more so when they do something they’ve been practicing a while. We all have moments in our football career that stick out in our minds. I’ve been fortunate to play in numerous teams winning various leagues and cup finals along the way, but one thing I believe, is that we can all recall at least one grassroots coach that has helped us experience those moments along the way. I am extremely excited to be a part of this journey with #TheWhites!"
