Following the re-launch of our junior section and as we look toward a start date for the new season, it is a great opportunity to shine the spotlight on our club volunteers, who allow 'The Whites' to provide football from 4 years of age right up to our senior teams.

Today is the turn of another coach within our newly created female pathway, Craig Harvey. Craig holds the position of assistant manager for our U11 girls. Craig currently holds his level 1 coaching qualification and is looking to step up and achieve his level 2 as soon as things get back to 'normal'.

When asked about asked about his experience within football, Craig told us: "Football has always been a way of life for me, travelling to watch Lincoln City and Newcastle United. I never really reached the level I wanted to play at, due to injuries and a loss of motivation. I have found myself enjoying the coaching side. In terms of my experience I coached at Birchwood Colts with the under 12 boys and then going up to the senior ladies side before taking a break to spend more time with my family."

Talking about the new era and re-launch at 'The Whites', Craig added: "I think the bringing over Hykeham to Lincoln United can only be good for the city and grassroots football and I look forward to being part of it!"
