We begin our round-up by saying well done to the lads for a terrific showing on Saturday when they beat Goole. To move up to 14th in the table. They now have a free week to rest some weary legs.

The FA Cup saw 2 draws, one win and an abandoned game for the Lincolnshire sides. Grantham Town and Stamford have to replay after a goalless game, former United keeper Mario Ziccardi helped keep Grantham at bay for the Daniels. , whilst Brigg Town take Carlton Town. Back to the Hawthorns this week.

Sleaford Town will have to wait for an FA decision to found out if they have progressed after their game with Huntingdon Town was abandoned with just three minutes remaining. Sleaford were winning 2-1.

Spalding United had a narrow 1-0 victory over Gorleston.

In the UCL Premier Division Deeping Rangers won 4-0 at home to Stewart & Lloyds Corby. Boston Town slipped 3rd from bottom after losing to bottom side Northampton Sileby Rangers – this was their first points..

In the UCL First Division Blackstones lost 0-4 to Northampton ON Chenecks. Former United striker Darren Munton, back in charge at Bourne Town saw his lads win at home to Irchester United, Bourne move up to 17th. At the other end of the table Harrowby United beat rock-bottom Woodford United 4-0.

In the Northern Counties East Premier Lincoln Moorlands Railway lost 1-3 to Maltby with visitors pushing the Moors into second from bottom position. Barton Town Old Boys slipped up at Liversedge and Winterton Rangers lost 0-7 to Garforth Town having been 5-0 down at half-time.

In the NCE First Division Lincolnshire had three clubs in the top eight before Saturdays games: Bottesford Town won 3-1 at home to Hemsworth, Cleethorpes Town won away to Hall Road Rangers but Grimsby Borough slipped up at home to bottom side Appleby Frodingham who picked up their first points of the season following the 2-1 win. Lowly Louth Town lost 0-4 at home to second placed Eccleshill United.

In the Conference North Gainsborough Trinity got a massive boost with their first win against Barrow. Boston United had a comfortable 3-0 home win against mid-table Guiseley who parted company with their manager this week.

In Conference Lincoln City got a last minute equaliser which was the least they deserved after an excellent showing at Barnet. Grimsby Town,leap-frogged the Imps with a 1-0 win at home to Braintree.
