QUORN GAME POSTPONED

Quite a lot of fixtures have already gone when our game was called off at 11am on Saturday morning following a sharp overnight frost.

Manager, John Wilkinson said, " After playing at Shepshed last season when the pitch was clearly not safe for play I would rather err on the side of caution anyway. People say pitches are just as hard in April but the difference is you are far more likely to slip and slide with conditions as they are at the moment."

"I do believe matches are called off too easily for so called waterlogging but a frozen pitch is different."
