Lincoln United are slowly getting back to full strength and two key players, Ryan Porter and Stuart Reddington return ahead of the Spalding game.

Ryan missed Tuesday night's win over Rainworth and Stuart has missed the last two but both are fully fit and raring to go.

With Craig Turner almost fully fit and Jack McGovern now back in the frame, Manager John Wilkinson reckons the squad is in much better shape than a month ago.

We have Sam Mullarkey carrying a niggling groin injury but other than that we should go into November with a "bigger" squad than the one we had in October. That leaves Adam Gilbert still sidelined following his illness.

Wilkinson said, "Craig is nearly back, perhaps a game or two more but then he has to get past Phil McGann who has got slowly more confident as the weeks have ticked by."

"I think Jack McGovern has been a great addition to the squad and would expect him to establish himself in the team soewhere but similarly in the past five or six games Steve Melton and Brendan McDaid have been a real force in midfield."

"That is what you must have as a club - if the side picks itself then you will stagnate."
