YOUTHS GET OFF TO A WINNING START

The Imps were managed by former United staff member Damien Froggatt.

We settled first and took an early lead which might have been increased before we conceded a slopp goal right on half-time.

That lifted the Imps and the period after half-time saw them at their best.

However United rallied and eventually won the game 3-2.

Julian McKay was delighted with his lads and Lee Burns(pictured) said he was looking forward to another succesful season.
