Cotton, a creative and skilful attacking player with bags of energy off the ball, as well as an eye for goal.Originally joining the club from Stamford after previously having been at Lincoln City, Matt has produced on the biggest of occasions for the club. A goal in the 2016/17 season's FA Cup run against Nuneaton Town, a winning goal in the Lincolnshire County Cup Final, seeing the club ultimately win the trophy, amongst many others.
The 2019/20 season saw Cotton move down the A46 to upcoming club, Newark Flowserve however, with the return of Sam Wilkinson and in-line with the club's new-era (2020/21), Cotton has returned to 'The Whites'.
