Littlehampton Town will continue to compete in the Isthmian League South Central Division next season after being granted a reprieve by the Football Association.

The Marigolds switched from the South East Division to the South Central Division ahead of the 2025/26 campaign and narrowly missed out on survival despite winning 12 matches and collecting 46 points across the season.

However, following the reorganisation of the National League System club allocations for the 2026/27 season, the club has retained its Step 4 status. In its official communication, the FA stated: “Littlehampton Town FC are reprieved on a PPG basis across the Step level, to cover the previous vacancy left when Widnes FC withdrew before the start of the 2025/26 season.”

Joining the South Central Division next season following lateral movements are Jersey Bulls and Winchester City. Four clubs have also been promoted into the division: AFC Stoneham, Ashford Town (Middx), Cobham and Windsor & Eton.
