Littlehampton Town's first major game of the new season takes place this coming Sunday (August 6) as we enter the Extra Preliminary Round of the prestigious Emirates FA Cup.
After finishing the final pre-season game against Worthing last night (and despite the 2-1 loss) Mitchell Hand and joint manager George Gaskin are reading their new-look squad ahead of the first big test of the 2023/24 season.
Erith & Belvedere won promotion to the Isthmian League South East Division for this coming season and will be tough opponents. The winners of this tie will be at home to play the victors of the game between Sporting Bengal v Stansfeld in the Preliminary Round.
Sunday's match is one of 208 Emirates FA Cup matches taking place this weekend and in the event of a tie, replay will take place the following week.
