A match against a strong team with some good technical players resulted in a 4-0 defeat.
Littleton were only able to field 12 players due to injuries and other commitments.
We conceded two goals in each half and one of those in each half was an own goal.
The boys battled really well throughout the game but the physical nature of the match and the energetic pressing of the opposition gave the boys little chance to get the ball down and play and there was a lot of transitions throughout the game with the ball changing sides at a very frequent rate making it quite scrappy at times.
A large proportion of the game centered around the central midfield and Otto and Noah competed brilliantly with their two best players with neither of them shirking their responsibilities.
Our back four continue to build their understanding and the positioning is improving week on week. Well done to Matt who dropped into left back when Alisdair had to move up to left midfield.
Zac was a menace all day and never stopped running and with a few more games I am sure we will start to see him finding the back of the net
I think we all learnt a lot from todays experience and we can take away things to work on at training over the next few weeks to come back stronger.
