Autumn/Winter Groundsman Works

Just a quick shot of the changing rooms and outfield in the sun!
This is the area just off the square on the bowlers run ups it has taken a battering and had little to no grass left on it, it has been spiked and fully seeded and should come through nicely, especially with this weather!
Here you can see the same area which I seeded last week, I only got time to put a bit seed down before the rain came, but it has came through well and the rest of this area should follow suit!
The square is really coming along well thanks to the good conditions we're having, it's getting cut at least once a week and is looking good!
This is one of the areas on the square which is struggling for grass cover, as mentioned it's mainly the foot holes that are struggling with all the wear and tear! This has been spiked and re-seeded and should come through for next week!
Some areas of the square, mainly the one's constantly used for netting have developed big foot holes in them, these have been repaired and should be nice and solid by now.
Here you can see that the square has been "squared off" with the white pegs, hoping to give the square two extra pitches thanks to Paul and Eddie etc!
