First Team Manager Sean Eardley brings Josh Allen and Max Moore to Llandudno FC both on a season-long loan from Connahs Quay Nomads FC

We are delighted to announce that we welcome Josh Allen and Max Moore to Llandudno FC. Here’s what first-team manager Sean Eardley had to say about the two new signings:

On Josh Allen :
“I’m really looking forward to working with Josh.
For a young lad, he’s a commanding centre half, and when you have the likes of George Horan to look up too on a daily basis you know you’re going to improve session by session.
We have experience here too, and overall we’re happy we can play a part in Josh’s development both as a player and as a person.
Welcome Josh”

On Max Moore :
“Max is an exciting attacking midfielder who loves to get on the ball and likes to make things happen.
He was a big part in the Under 19 Connahs Quay side that won the development league last season (all be it being cut short) and I believe he’ll cope with the youth-adult football transition with no problems at all.
A welcome addition, Croeso Max.”

Sean Eardley:
"I’d like to thank everyone at Connahs Quay that has helped with the move, in particular, Jay Catton and Gaz Richards"

Connahs Quay Nomads FC:
"Once Max Moore and Josh Allen signed contracts for our first team we knew that the next aid for their development was a loan move to the best football club possible.

As soon as Sean Eardley was named as Llandudno manager and the relationship we as staff have with Sean we moved quickly to see if this was an option Llandudno would be interested in.

Sean has great history of aiding players development as both U19s manager with Dudno previously and Welsh Premier management experience with Caernarfon Town, we knew this would be perfect move for our top-level youth players.

Along with great coaches and people in Sean Eardley and assistant manager Guy Handscombe, we know that both our players will develop well, along with continuing training within our own first team session under Andy Morrison, Craig Harrison and myself.

But most importantly is the opportunity for both Max and Josh to gain vital senior playing experience at a fantastic Cymru North football club who boast great history, and this will be vital in the progression of both our young nineteen year old players.

We thank Sean and all at Llandudno for aiding with this move and giving our young players a tremendous opportunity to develop within the senior game, and in turn aid their long term development with ourselves at Connah’s Quay Nomads FC."

We all look forward to seeing them both play next season and welcome them to our club. We’ll be catching up with them over the coming days to see what they think about being part of the squad next season.
