MBi Llandudno FC are delighted to announce the singing of defender Jonny Spittle from fellow Dafabet Welsh Premier League outfit, Airbus UK.
Spittle, who joins Town on a 12 month loan deal, spent 10 months previously with the seasiders during the 2013/14 campaign, their last on the Maesdu Park grass before the installation of the new 3G surface they now play on, before switching to the wingmakers in July 2014.
The defender, who has had previous spells at Wigan Athletic, Blackburn and Rochdale, only started 4 times in the WPL last season for Airbus, scoring 1 goal and picking up a solitary yellow card but showed during his time on field his ability to influence games from defence.
Jonny spoke to the LLFC Official Website about his move, "I'm looking forward to it and to getting started.
"It's a good loan move for both parties in Airbus and Llandudno, hopefully now I can kick on and do well for Town."
Town manager Alan Morgan spoke to the LLFC Official Website earlier today about the signing of Spittle, "I know Jon really well from when we had him the first time, I didn't want him to leave back then so I'm happy he's come back to us now and I'm looking forward to working with him again.
"He's an all round defender, he's aggressive in the tackle and he can play as well. We are in a good position now because we've got three quality centre halves who will be fighting it out for the two starting positions and I can't wait to get them all on the training pitch this coming week."
