Played for every time the Warriors and Gladiators met between 1995 and 2006 when it was replaced by the Dai Spriggs Memorial Shield. They became the 1st side to win the Shield away in when they triumphed at Waunarlwydd in a match refereed by Rupert Moon
The Warriors led the series 8-6 (with 2 draws) and won the final game with another away triumph, 5-7 in Swansea Uplands.
